The climate at St. Lawrence School is a warm, inviting family atmosphere with a close knit staff, involved parents, and strong school tradition and spirit. St. Lawrence School has an experienced teaching staff committed to our mission. We strive for low student/teacher ratios. We offer physical education, vocal & instrumental music, and computer teachers. If you came to our school, you would see a very caring and spiritual staff who knows each child as an individual. We have small class sizes that average about 13 students which are great for meeting each student’s unique needs. Each Pre K through 6th grade classroom has an interactive Promethean Board for teachers and students to use in the learning process. Parents are actively involved in school activities and with our School Family Organization (L.I.F.E.). We are fully accredited by the state of South Dakota.

Grandparents Day is Friday, October 9. Please make sure to invite your child's grandparents to join us for Mass at 8:30 followed by cookies and Bingo for Books in the gym following! Students may go out for lunch with their grandparents at 10:45 and return by 11:45.
Whimsy will have a book fair set up for us to shop on Wednesday, October 7 and Thursday, October 8 from 7:30-8:15 am and also 3:15-4:30 pm. Friday they will be open from 7:30 until Mass at 8:30 and after Mass from 9:30-11:00. Teachers will have wish lists posted in the lunchroom. Please consider buying a book or two for your child's classroom. Proceeds from this year's book fair will be used to purchase books for the school library!
*If you are unable to make it to the book fair, Whimsy will add purchases of books to our book fair if you visit the store.
